We’re a globally distributed team – with offices in London, Belfast, Los Angeles and Bangkok. About a third of the ScreenCloud team work remotely from their homes, cafes or the beach.
We are looking for someone to join our London-based Marketing team, working closely with our Head of Content. The key to success in this role will be someone who has a natural flair for writing and is keen to get stuck in to lots of different content-focused tasks, while mastering the art of SEO.

The key elements of the role are:
Your day-to-day will involve writing new content for our audiences, and helping to edit and improve existing content. This means owning an editorial content calendar and meeting self-set deadlines, in order to help us achieve our ambitious plan of building the best online education for digital signage pioneers and makers. As well as writing blogs, you’ll also be assisting with content ranging from ScreenCloud University courses, to video scripts, newsletters, podcast bios, ebooks and interviews. You will become the content gatekeeper, ensuring that our content is written on time and to a high standard. An interest in SEO and how to write content that works for search engines, even if you don’t know much about this yet, is absolutely key to this role. You’ll also be happy to lend your proofreading skills and an editorial eye to other members of the marketing team.
Key experience we’re looking for:
Strong writing skills - you must be a natural writer who’s keen to spend most of the week writing and editing content
Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
Tone of voice and good at writing persuasive, fun and interesting copy
Project management skills - it’s really important for you to be able to liaise with all different members of the team as well as managing your own workload
Journalistic eye for stories and editorial hooks
An interest in software, technology or how people communicate using digital tools
Someone super organised and who loves writing/reading - always searching for that great line of copy
We work much faster than your average marketing team so you’ll need to be able to shut off from distraction and have a high work output
A keen understanding of commercial writing and how to write for a customer, as opposed to a consumer
Writing examples - whether it’s a side project, a blog or your current experience, we’ll need to see examples of your writing
Plus some nice to haves:
Solid and relevant experience - be it in SaaS, B2B or tech sector journalism
Marketing experience, and how to write for different parts of the inbound marketing funnel
An understanding of SEO
